What to include in the Refund Policy
Service-Based Consulting & Compliance Packages
Due to the customized, professional, and time-intensive nature of church compliance consulting services:

All payments for consulting services are non-refundable once work has commenced.

“Work commenced” includes document review, consultation sessions, preparation of filings, research, advisory services, or submission of government applications.

If a client cancels before work begins, a refund may be issued minus any administrative or processing fees.
IRS 1023 & Government Filing Assistance
Because preparation and submission of IRS and government documents require immediate allocation of professional time and resources:

Fees related to IRS Form 1023 preparation, review, and submission are non-refundable once documentation review has begun.

Government filing fees paid to third parties (such as the IRS or state agencies) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Membership Programs
For recurring membership programs:

Members may cancel future billing at any time.

Membership fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Digital Products, Courses & Downloadable Materials
Due to the immediate access and delivery of digital materials:

Exceptional Circumstances
